First Baptist Church of Brunswick

PASTOR WALLY has served First Baptist since September 2001, first as the interim pastor and then was called by the church to be their permanent pastor in July of 2002.

Before being called to serve the Lord, Wally held many different jobs, including owning two businesses in the Brunswick area.

Wally is engaged and welcomes the addition of a daughter and two sons to his family, which includes two daughters and 5 grandchildren, as well as three cats.

An avid reader, you may also find Wally in or near the water, tending to his apple orchard, playing online POGO, or in head-to-head competition with Rock Band and Guitar Hero.

DEBI PRIDE is the behind the scenes person at First Baptist. She handles the bulletin, newsletter, cookbook, directory and website. Her most important job, other than being a mom, is helping her fiance take care of his "family" and keeping him happy (which sometimes entails letting him win at Canasta.)

Debi has 3 grown children (L-R) Derrick (26), Don III (28) and Danielle (24), as well as a daughter, son-in-law and 3 grandchildren. A freelance graphic designer and part time church secretary, Debi also collects lighthouses and loves to read and play cards & games.

Originally from a-way, life in Maine has brought Debi happiness, joy, love and peace.

First Baptist is blessed to have a wonderful group of people who serve the church.
